Our Savior Lutheran Third Graders Visit Boston, MA

Our next stop on our tour of the Northeast Region was Boston, MA.

We visited the Boston Commons and saw where the Revolutionary War started. We learned about Paul Revere and saw his house and grave.

We saw where the battle at Bunker Hill  took place and the monument that stands there now.

We even saw the Swan boats in the pond in the Public Garden. This was fun because we have been listening to E.B. White’s The Trumpet of the Swan. In that book Louis the swan worked in the Public Garden playing his trumpet.

Next stop is the Erie Canal!
