Our Savior Lutheran Third Graders Visit the Southeast Region

Our bags are packed and we’re ready to go!  Southeast Region here we come!  Monday, January 14, the OSL third graders will be leaving cold Michigan and heading south to start our tour of the Southeast Region via boat and bus.
We will start in Florida and visit the Everglades.  Then head up the coast in a fishing boat to Cape Canaveral to see the Kennedy Space Center.  We then go further north until we get to Jamestown, Virginia.

After stops in the Appalachian Mountains to see a coal mine, we will go down the Mississsippi River in a river boat to Memphis; Natchez, MS; New Orleans, LA; an oil rig in the Gulf of Mexico, and Montgomery Alabama.

Keep watching this blog so that you can see what we are learning at all the interesting stops.
